Caramelize the onions in butter over medium heat. Stir frequently and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Mix softened butter and chili sauce to create a spread
- Spread jam on two pieces of bread, and butter on 4 pieces.
- Start layering the sandwich as follows; fig jam, cheese, turkey, now flip one of the buttered bread slices, butter side down onto the turkey slice. Spread fig jam on the opposite side, layer cheese, onions, and finally a piece of bread butter side down.
- Pan fry the sandwiches with butter on medium heat for 3-4 minutes until toasted and golden.
- Enjoy hot!
