Whole thawed Butterball Turkey2 Tbsp olive oil1/2 Tbsp salt, to taste1/2 Tbsp pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat your pellet grill or BBQ to 325°F/162°C degrees. (If you are using charcoal or gas BBQ, you want to place your turkey on the grill indirectly.)

  2. Ensure turkey is fully thawed or fresh. Pat turkey dry and remove giblets located at the top and inside the bird. Tuck each wing in to help prevent burning.
  3. Spread olive oil evenly over the whole bird, followed by salt and pepper all over.
  4. Once grill is preheated, place turkey directly on grill grates. Visit the Butterball turkey calculator on Butterball.ca to get exact cook time for your size turkey, and for other helpful thawing and cooking tips.
  5. Ensure internal temperature is 165°F (74°C) in the breast or 180°F (82°C) in thigh. Let your turkey rest for 15 minutes before carving. Enjoy!
