Butterball Summer Herb Turkey Burgers with Feta and Basil Sauce

Ingredients

For the Burgers:

4 Butterball turkey burgers4 burger bunsRed onion slicesLettuce

For the Feta and Basil Sauce:

3/4 cup feta cheese2 Tbsp honey1/3 cup fresh basil leaves

For the Summer Herb Chimichurri Sauce:

1/4 cup parsley, chopped1/4 cup chives, chopped1/4 cup mint, chopped1/4 cup basil, chopped1 tsp smoked paprika1 Tbsp red wine vinegar1/3 cup olive oilPinch of salt

Directions

  1. In a food processor, combine feta cheese, honey, and fresh basil leaves. Blend until smooth or for about 5 minutes. If necessary, scrape down the sides of the food ensure everything is well combined.

  2. Combining chopped parsley, chives, mint, and basil. Add paprika, red wine vinegar, olive oil, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  3. Lightly brush the Butterball turkey burgers with vegetable oil. Cook the turkey burgers according to the package instructions or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  4. Spread the prepared feta and basil sauce on the bottom half of each burger bun. Place a leaf of lettuce on top of the sauce and add the cooked turkey burger patty.
  5. Add the summer herb chimichurri sauce over the patty and top with red onion slices.
  6. Place the top half of the burger bun on the onion slices to complete the burger. Enjoy!
