Butterball Turkey Philly Burgers

Ingredients

8 Butterball Turkey Burgers8 Dempster's Signature Gold Buns1 cup cheddar cheese spread8 slices Provolone cheese2 Tbsp olive oil2 red peppers, sliced2 yellow peppers, sliced1lb button mushrooms, sliced

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat, add peppers, mushrooms, and a pinch of salt. Increase the heat to high and cook for 3–4 minutes, or until softened, and set aside.

  2. In a grill pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and add frozen turkey burgers (can also be cooked on the BBQ). Cook for 7-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) (this can be done on your greased grill outdoors as well).
  3. For the last two minutes of cooking, add a slice of Provolone to each burger to melt.
  4. To build the burgers, add cheddar cheese spread to both sides of the Dempster's Signature Gold Buns. Add mushrooms and peppers, followed by your turkey burger.
  5. Add more mushrooms and peppers on top, and close with the top bun. Enjoy!
