Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat, add peppers, mushrooms, and a pinch of salt. Increase the heat to high and cook for 3–4 minutes, or until softened, and set aside.
- In a grill pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and add frozen turkey burgers (can also be cooked on the BBQ). Cook for 7-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) (this can be done on your greased grill outdoors as well).
- For the last two minutes of cooking, add a slice of Provolone to each burger to melt.
- To build the burgers, add cheddar cheese spread to both sides of the Dempster's Signature Gold Buns. Add mushrooms and peppers, followed by your turkey burger.
- Add more mushrooms and peppers on top, and close with the top bun. Enjoy!
