Garlic Parmesan Turkey Skewers  

Prep time 40 minutes (includes marinating time)        Cook time 25 minutes       Serves 4

Ingredients

 Select the items you need and print a shopping list.
1 Butterball Boneless Turkey Roast, thawed 1/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted 6 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 2 tsp Italian seasoning 1 tsp smoked paprika 2 Tbsp minced fresh parsley  Lemon wedges, optional 

Directions

  1. Mix olive oil, melted butter, and minced garlic in a large bowl. Add grated Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, and parsley, stirring until well combined.  

  2. Cut the Butterball turkey roast into 1 1/2-inch cubes and add to the marinade; toss to coat. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes. 
  3. Preheat your oven to 425°F.  
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.  
  5. Remove turkey from the fridge and thread the cubes onto skewers. Arrange the skewers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.  
  6. Roast the turkey in the oven for 20-25 minutes, turning the skewers halfway through cooking. The turkey should be golden brown and cooked through, with an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). 
  7. (Optional: if you don’t use parchment, you can broil them for the last few minutes to get nice crispy bits.) 
  8. Allow skewers to rest for a few minutes before serving with lemon wedges on the side. 

  9. Cooking time 

  10. Oven from thawed: 2 hours and 15 minutes 

  11. BBQ from thawed: 1 hour and 30 minutes 

  12. Note: cook times are approximate, as appliances vary.  Thaw product in refrigerator for 1 day.
